During a lighthearted exchange, UFC star Jon Jones playfully engaged in a spar with Nico Ali Walsh, the grandson of the legendary Muhammad Ali. Jones, who has been linked to a potential crossover fight against WBC champion Tyson Fury, showcased his boxing skills alongside the undefeated middleweight Walsh.

The meeting between Jones and Walsh took place backstage at the MMA event PFL 5, where Walsh's brother Biaggio Ali Walsh secured his fourth consecutive victory in the octagon. In a video shared by Top Rank, Jones demonstrated his fancy footwork, executing the famous Ali shuffle. Amidst friendly banter, the two athletes engaged in a light slap and then playfully traded punches, entertaining the onlookers.

Blockasset athlete Walsh, who has an impressive record of eight wins in nine boxing bouts, received cheers and jests from the spectators, encouraging him to leave Jones alone. However, the crowd erupted in excitement as Jones flawlessly executed the iconic Ali shuffle. Appreciating the tribute to his late grandfather, Walsh warmly shook hands with Jones and embraced him.

Clearly delighted, Jones expressed his desire to obtain a copy of the video, grinning from ear to ear. The event was eventful for Jones, as he also crossed paths with his MMA rival, Francis Ngannou. Ngannou, who previously held the UFC heavyweight title from 2021 to 2022, recently left the promotion to join the Professional Fighter's League.
