Blockasset have today launched an innovative NFT marketplace platform, dedicated to official, verified sports collectibles.

Home to Blockasset’s existing sports NFT collections; Blockasset Legends, Smesh Bros., Usyk, Leon Edwards and Lutadores, this new NFT marketplace will also support external collections, allowing sports fans to list and purchase their favourite sports collectibles.

This is the latest commitment from Blockasset to the thriving digital sports collectibles market, now worth an estimated $2.6 billion per year.

“Today represents another milestone in the history of Blockasset”, claimed Blockasset CEO, Paul Evans.

“2023 has been an incredibly busy year for our team and community, with the release of our new staking platform, enhancements to existing products and the launch of our partnership with Chiliz.” Evans continued.

Blockasset’s new NFT marketplace has been built in mind of mass Web3 adoption of sports fans, with a number of popular payment methods integrated, and is the first phase of a cross-chain solution built to support major sports brands and elite athletes as they move into Web3.

“Market conditions have been incredibly difficult for some time now, but we continue to build. The launch of our new NFT marketplace further sets Blockasset up as a sustainable business, which will soon be one of the most recognisable sports brands on the planet.” Evans concluded.

Blockasset’s new NFT marketplace is now live. And further developments and features will be added to the platform over the coming weeks and months.
