Serie A giants Juventus are set to expand their collaboration with Web3 fan token platform Socios.com to provide additional perks and rewards to the club's devoted supporters through the JUV Fan Token.

In late 2019, Juventus made history by being the first football club to introduce its official Fan Token, a platform that has proven to be instrumental in boosting fan engagement with the club and amplifying its global brand presence.

Since partnering with Socios, the Bianconeri have launched more than 140 Fan Polls within the Socios.com app. These polls have empowered Fan Token holders to influence choices such as the in-stadium goal celebration song, the design of the team bus, and the inspirational messages adorning the team's locker room. Remarkably, nearly 400,000 votes have been cast by fans worldwide, alongside nearly 1,000 rewards closely tied to the club.

Notably, more than 65% of JUV Fan Token holders are below the age of 40, with over 30% falling below the age of 30, and they hail from 139 different countries.

Now, this partnership is poised to elevate the benefits and rewards for JUV Fan Token holders to new heights. Commencing with the 2023-24 season, Juventus enthusiasts will have the exclusive opportunity to participate in matches at the Allianz Stadium and gain Early Access to match tickets. Moreover, they will enjoy special discounted rates for experiences at the J Hotel, the J Museum, the Allianz Stadium Tour, and the club's membership programs.

Tiziana Di Gioia, Chief Commercial Officer of Juventus Football Club, expressed her excitement, stating: "We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with Socios.com, a key partner... Today, our JUV Fan Token allows us to offer exciting opportunities to our fans on a global scale, and now, thanks to this new agreement, we will further expand the catalogue of exclusive benefits and experiences that will be available and redeemable to our Fan Token holders."

Socios.com has now joined forces with more than 100 sporting organizations worldwide, with over 80 of them successfully launching their Fan Tokens on the platform.

Italy holds a crucial position in Socios.com's market, having obtained regulatory approval as a provider of virtual currencies and digital wallets in August 2022. This includes eight partners, such as Lega Serie A and the Italian Football Federation, making Italy the third-largest user base on the platform.

Alexandre Dreyfus, Founder and CEO of Socios.com, emphasized the significance of this expanded partnership, saying: "The expansion of the partnership with Juventus is very special for us. Juventus was one of the first sporting organizations to back our vision to enhance fan engagement through blockchain, and the first club in the world to launch its Fan Token. With their boldness, they opened a path that dozens of brands worldwide have followed and that is changing the game for sports fans across the world."
